Site Access and Fencing Update
Last updated: 1/07/2026
As construction progresses on the Skyline Swansea project, fencing is being installed around active worksites on Kilvey Hill and at Landore Park & Ride.
Update on the Temporary Diverted Paths on Kilvey Hill
Swansea Council has approved a temporary diverted access route, which will be monitored and maintained throughout the construction to allow access across the hill between Bonymaen and St Thomas.
Additional signage has been installed and will continue to be reviewed as works progress to ensure people can follow the temporary route safely.
When Skyline Swansea opens, existing access routes and public rights of way affected by the works will be reopened.

Kilvey Hill Remains Open
Fencing is not closing off Kilvey Hill. It is being installed in and around active work areas to protect the health and safety of workers and members of the public. It follows the boundary of each active worksite and does not extend beyond the area needed for safe construction.
While works are underway, some paths across the hill are temporarily closed or diverted. These diversions are signposted. The map below shows the current layout of the fencing boundaries.

Landore Park & Ride
The Park & Ride remains open throughout construction. The number of available parking spaces is temporarily reduced while groundworks are underway.
Swansea Council is also carrying out separate works at the Park & Ride, including relocating the bus stop and reconfiguring the junction. Any queries about those works should be directed to Swansea Council.
